We help you find a cost-effective way to market and promote your business with custom promotional items that speak to your customers and clients. When it comes to advertising your products and services, there are many options available. Here are 5 reasons why you should consider using promotional products to promote your business.

1. Cost Effective

Bottom line … Promotional Products are the most cost effective form of advertising when comparing cost per impression. According to ASI, promotional products cost on average .6 cents per impression, whereas TV and magazine ads cost between 2.4 cents and 1.8 cents per impression. It is important to consider the value of the impression. TV, radio, and billboard ads – while also measured in cost per impression – have much less staying power. You may hear an ad, but not really listen to it or be able to recall it. You may see a billboard, but then it is gone. Promotional products are targeted to a specific audience, and depending on the item, may be visible many times during a day for multiple days and months.

2. Targeted

Since promotional products have the best cost per impression, it is best to choose products that are specific to your target audience. To maximize your return on your investment, identify promotional products that are aligned with your objective, useful to your audience, and have a lasting impression. Be specific. If your target audience tends to make decisions about your product while they are working at their desk, consider a desk top item, such as a USB drive, a mouse pad or a coffee mug.

3. Staying Power

As discussed earlier, promotional products are the most cost effective due to staying power. Be strategic. Who is your audience? What do they do? How can you ensure the most impressions for your business? For example, we recently worked with a client who was hosting a large event with about 10,000 participants. Initially, the client wanted to provide drawstring bags. However, through our conversations with the client, understanding the audience and the purpose of the event, we suggested custom T-Shirts would create a longer lasting impression – hence an even better cost per impression, and ultimately a higher return on investment. The drawstring bags, while excellent for the day of the event, would most likely not get as many long term impressions as a fun t-shirt which the participants would most likely to wear again post the event.

4. Memorable

Recall is an important metric when it comes to promoting your business. Did you know that 9 in 10 people will recall the brand associated with the promotional product they received, and 8 in 10 will recall the messaging? Think about that… 90% will recall your brand from a promotional product, and 80% will recall the messaging specifics! One of our clients had a conference focused on inspiring high engagement work cultures. Connecting the theme of the event with the audience, we created Powering High Engagement Work Cultures and provided branded mobile power banks.

5. Fun

In addition to being memorable, promotional products are simply fun! Who doesn’t like to get a free gift? Promotional products engage your audience, motivate people, and promote your business.
